865 trees — and everything that moves in
A forest isn't a row of trees. It's everything that comes to live in them.
A fresh update from the digiDen Studio forest: another 40 trees in the ground, bringing our total to 865 with JUST ONE Tree.
Beyond the number, the forest is getting on with it — creating rural work, giving homes to wildlife and marine life, and set to absorb around 266.42 tonnes of CO₂ as it grows. Every WebCare Growth Plan keeps that going, month after month.
A forest is more than trees
Plant one kind of tree in neat rows and you get a plantation. Plant a mix of native species and something else happens. Insects arrive, then the birds that feed on them, then the animals that follow the birds. The ground changes too — roots hold the soil together, fallen leaves feed it, and water stays where it's needed.
That's why the work JUST ONE Tree backs is about restoring whole ecosystems, not only counting stems. The trees are the start. What moves in afterwards is the point.
The bit you don't see
Most of what makes a forest healthy happens out of sight — underground, up in the canopy, overnight. Nobody stands and watches it; it just keeps working.
Most of what keeps a website healthy happens out of sight too. That's the part we look after.
