WebCare Series #1: Why we look after websites before they break
Most website problems don't arrive out of nowhere. Here's why we'd rather catch them early.

Websites need looking after. Not in a dramatic, everything's-on-fire way — in the steady, ongoing way a building or a garden does.
Most website problems don't arrive out of nowhere. An update gets missed, then another. A page slows down a little each month. A form stops sending, and nobody notices until an enquiry goes quiet. By the time it looks like a problem, it's usually been one for a while.
That's why WebCare works the other way round. Rather than waiting for something to break and then fixing it, we keep watch — so most of the things that could go wrong simply don't.
What "looking after" actually means
Keeping everything current. Plugins and software stay up to date, applied with care rather than all at once and hoping for the best.
Keeping an eye on how it performs. Speed, uptime and the small warning signs that something is drifting.
Checking in with you. A regular conversation about how the site is doing and what's coming up for your business.
Being there when you need us. Your own dedicated email address for tasks and support, coming straight to the studio.
Why it matters
Your website is often the first conversation someone has with you. When it's fast, current and working properly, nobody notices — which is exactly the point. You get to focus on what you do best, and the site quietly does its job.
That's what we've been doing for clients for twenty years. We stay.
Coming next in this series
Next time: exactly what's included in every WebCare plan, whichever one suits you.
WebCare starts with our Essential plan — you'll find the starting price on the Growth Hub. If your site needs more than that, we'll shape a plan around it. Get in touch and we'll talk it through.
