WebCare Series #3: What a task credit gets you
Task credits are the hands-on part of WebCare. Here's what one actually covers.

The essentials keep your site healthy. Task credits are the hands-on part — the changes and additions you'd like us to make each month.
What is a task credit?
One task credit covers up to 30 minutes of work on your site. Each WebCare plan comes with a set number of credits every month, and you can use them on whatever your site needs.
When there's something you'd like doing, send it to your dedicated WebCare email address and we'll take it from there.
What that looks like in practice
Some examples of the kind of thing one credit covers:
Updating the text or images on a page
Adding a new team member, testimonial or case study
Uploading and formatting a blog post you've written
Adding an event or updating opening hours
Swapping a banner or promotional message
Fixing a broken link or tidying a menu
Bigger jobs use more than one credit. A new page built from an existing layout, for example, might take two or three.
If you need more
Some months are busier than others. If you need more than your plan includes, extra tasks can be added as you go — no need to change plans for a one-off busy month.
Why we work this way
Task credits keep things clear on both sides. You know what's included, we know what you're expecting, and nothing becomes a surprise invoice. It also means everyday improvements actually happen, rather than sitting on a someday list.
Coming next in this series
Next time: content types — what they are, and why they shape your plan.
WebCare starts with our Essential plan — you'll find the starting price on the Growth Hub. If your site needs more than that, we'll shape a plan around it. Get in touch and we'll talk it through.
